About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled and creative Minecraft Level Designer / Map Creator to design immersive, high-quality environments for our server and game experiences. This role focuses on building detailed maps, gameplay spaces, and environments that are both visually impressive and functional for players.
You’ll be working on projects ranging from realistic recreations (e.g., military vehicles, cities, or historical builds) to original worlds and gameplay-driven maps.
Key Responsibilities
Design and build high-quality Minecraft maps and environments
Translate concepts, references, or real-world designs into Minecraft builds
Create gameplay-focused layouts (PvP, survival, adventure, etc.)
Collaborate with developers, server staff, or project leads
Optimize builds for performance and player experience
Use tools like WorldEdit, FAWE, or similar to increase efficiency
Iterate on builds based on feedback
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience building in Minecraft (Java Edition preferred)
Solid understanding of scale, proportion, and detail
Ability to replicate real-world objects or environments accurately
Experience with tools such as WorldEdit, FAWE, VoxelSniper, etc.
Good sense of layout and gameplay flow
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
Experience on large creative servers (e.g., Builders Refuge, Build the Earth)
Background in architecture, level design, or 3D modeling
Experience with plugins, datapacks, or light scripting
Portfolio of past builds

Compensation
50% commission per project

Platform fees apply. Microsoft typically takes 30% of each transaction.
The 50% commission is calculated after this 30% platform fee is deducted, not before.
